Clinical Team Leader
**Job Summary**
Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader to join our team in Ipswich. As a Clinical Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Registered nurses and Healthcare assistants, ensuring the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of holistic care for an identified group of service users.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage a team of Registered nurses and Healthcare assistants to ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of holistic care for an identified group of service users.
* Be responsible for ensuring effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with Sanctuary Personnel Ltd policies and procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal, and discipline.
* Lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives.
* Take responsibility for a service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, family/carers over their care.
* Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery.
* In consultation with the Head of Clinical Services/Ward Manager, assess potential service users in liaison with Health and/or Social Services commissioners.
* Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care using evidence-based guidelines.
* Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures, whether in a handwritten or electronic format.
* Ensure all clinical staff (including self) receive formal documented supervision/clinical supervision in line with professional and statutory requirements. Promote and demonstrate the highest clinical standards and assess through monitoring competencies.
* Ensure the identification of training needs and support staff in their development.
* Maintain an understanding of and act in accordance with all policies and procedures.
* Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care, depending on the service's needs.
* Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and influencing teams within a clinical environment.
* In-depth knowledge of current legislation applicable to the independent care sector.
* Proficiency in managing change and performance effectively.
