Clinical Team Leader

To manage a team of Registered nurses and Healthcare assistants, ensuring the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of holistic care for an identified group of service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives.
- Takes responsibility for a service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, family/carers over their care.
- Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery.
- Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates individualised care using evidence-based guidelines.
- Produces accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures all clinical staff (including self) receive formal documented supervision/clinical supervision in line with Brainkind professional and statutory requirements.
- Identifies training needs and supports staff in their development.
- Actively promotes the workplace as a learning environment, encouraging everyone to learn from each other and from external good practice.
- Provides an educational role to patients, carers, families, and colleagues in an environment that facilitates learning.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse or degree-level qualified individual with experience in specialist palliative or neurological care, depending on service requirements.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Proven skills in leading, building, and influencing in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of current legislation within the independent care sector.
- Demonstrable experience of practicing in a self-directed and highly motivated way.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate difficult messages to service users and their families.
- Negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Able to effectively manage change and manage performance.
- An ability to provide teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting.
We offer a competitive salary of £18.81 to £21.31 per hour, 35 days' holiday including bank holidays, pension contributions, and a range of other benefits.
