The salary for this permanent position is £42,500 - £46,500 per annum.

About the Role:

  1. Manage a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of care for a designated group of service users.
  2. Be responsible for effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with Sanctuary Personnel Ltd policies and procedures.

Main Duties:

  1. Lead the nursing team in developing the quality of care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives.
  2. Take responsibility for a service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, and family/carers over their care.
  3. Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery.
  4. In consultation with the Head of Clinical Services/Ward Manager, assess potential service users in liaison with Health and/or Social Services commissioners.
  5. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care using evidence-based guidelines.
  6. Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  7. Ensure all clinical staff receive formal documented supervision/clinical supervision in line with professional and statutory requirements.
  8. Identify training needs and support staff in their development.
  9. Maintain an understanding of and act in accordance with all policies and procedures.
  10. Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care, depending on the service's needs.
  11. Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and influencing teams within a clinical environment.
  12. In-depth knowledge of current legislation applicable to the independent care sector.
  13. Proficiency in managing change and performance effectively.
