Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our dedicated Transport team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering administrative assistance and maintaining accurate records, ensuring that deadlines are met to support the overall effectiveness of our operations.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm.
Compensation: £25,499 per annum.
Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Operations Coordinator:
Accurately debrief drivers post-shift. Review all timesheets for completeness and ensure all Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are returned accurately. Scan and archive PODs utilizing Culina's document management system. Prepare drivers' wallets and distribute delivery notes in the correct order along with any pertinent delivery details. Handle incoming calls and assist with various inquiries. Download drivers' cards and tachographs as required. Communicate all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) to Customer Services promptly. Regularly update spreadsheets, including change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets. Manage the departure and completion of loads using the Transport Management System (TMS). Ensure all collections are dispatched in the appropriate loads.Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Positive and flexible mindset. Excellent communication skills to convey precise information. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Proficient in prioritizing tasks to meet established deadlines. Good computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Capable of working collaboratively within a team or independently.Additional Information
