Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opening for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our Transport team in Stafford on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering administrative assistance and ensuring data accuracy, while meeting deadlines to support the overall effectiveness of our operations.
Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm.
Compensation: £25,499 per annum.
Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Operations Coordinator:
Accurately debrief drivers. Review all timesheets for completeness and ensure all Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are returned accurately. Scan and archive PODs utilizing Culina's document management system. Prepare driver wallets and distribute delivery notes in the correct order along with any pertinent delivery details. Handle incoming calls and assist with inquiries. Download drivers' cards and tachographs. Communicate all estimated times of arrival (ETAs) to Customer Services. Regularly update spreadsheets, including change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets. Manage the departure and completion of loads using the Transport Management System (TMS). Ensure all collections are dispatched in the appropriate loads.Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Positive and flexible mindset. Excellent communication skills to convey precise information. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Skill in prioritizing tasks to meet established deadlines. Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
