We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our Transport team at Culina Logistics.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering administrative assistance and ensuring precise data management, all while adhering to deadlines to enhance the overall efficiency of our operations.
Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm.
Compensation: £25,499 per annum.
Core Responsibilities of a Logistics Operations Coordinator:
- Accurately debrief drivers post-shift.
- Review all timesheets for proper completion and confirm all Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are returned accurately.
- Utilize Culina's document management system for scanning and archiving PODs.
- Prepare driver wallets and distribute delivery notes in the correct order along with any pertinent delivery details.
- Handle incoming calls and provide assistance with inquiries.
- Download and manage drivers' cards and tachographs.
- Communicate all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) to Customer Services.
- Regularly update spreadsheets, including change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets.
- Manage the departure and completion of loads using the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Ensure all uplifts are dispatched in the correct loads.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive and flexible mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey accurate information.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effective prioritization of workload to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Capable of working collaboratively or independently.
