Job Opportunity: Live In Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as well as moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities they enjoy, such as swimming, and support them in developing new skills and interests.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
