HR Services Administrator

RAC is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our dynamic HR Service team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the business, line managers, and employees in all aspects of HR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce contracts and offers of employment, ensuring a seamless transition into the business.
  • Ensure documents are thoroughly checked and validated for quality.
  • Initiate and track pre-employment screening via third parties, adhering to FCA guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Assist with monthly payroll data collation, querying anomalies and missing data.
  • Validate payroll documents and provide clear instructions to the payroll provider.
  • Provide timely advice to line managers and employees on general HR-related queries.
  • Support the annual processing of P11Ds, including queries regarding tax application.
  • Administer statutory payments and deductions within the colleague's lifecycle.
  • Update the HR/Payroll System with required information for payment and business reporting.
  • Manage the HR mailbox, handling circa 200-300 emails per day.
Requirements:
  • A strong customer focus with a drive to deliver high-quality service.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a natural problem-solving approach.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to communicate comfortably.
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and mail merge.
  • Prior experience with HR and payroll systems.
