Job Summary

The RAC is seeking an experienced HR Services Administrator to join our dynamic HR Service team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the business, line managers, and employees in all aspects of HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce contracts and offers of employment, ensuring a seamless transition into the business and providing relevant documentation for contract adjustments.
  • Verify and validate documents for quality and accuracy.
  • Initiate and track pre-employment screening via third-party providers, ensuring compliance with FCA guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Assist with the collation of data for the monthly payroll, querying anomalies and missing data.
  • Validate and check payroll documents, providing clear instructions to the payroll provider.
  • Provide timely advice to line managers and employees on general HR-related queries.
  • Support the annual processing of P11Ds, including queries regarding tax applications.
  • Administer the colleague lifecycle, including statutory payments and deductions.
  • Update the HR/Payroll System with required information for payment and business reporting requirements.
  • Manage the HR mailbox, responding to circa 200-300 emails per day.

Requirements

  • A strong customer focus with a drive to deliver high-quality service to all areas of the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and time management skills.
  • A natural problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and mail merge.
  • Prior experience with HR and payroll systems.
