Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, ensuring seamless communication with our healthcare team.
- Process patient registrations, updates, and repeat prescriptions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying, ensuring efficient and organized workflows.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, both in person and over the phone, using clear and concise language.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, with experience in EMIS Web patient records software an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours, as required.
