Position Overview

Role Summary

The selected individuals will become part of a forward-thinking and evolving Community Trust, collaborating closely with the football organization to implement community-oriented initiatives, projects, and programs during non-match days, match days, and our well-attended holiday camps. We seek enthusiastic, innovative, and adaptable team members who are ready to make an immediate impact.

Reporting to the Project Coordinators, the successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of programs.

If you are eager to enhance existing initiatives and contribute to the successful execution of projects, numerous opportunities for advancement will be available in this position. You will receive comprehensive support for your ongoing professional growth.

As a Community Engagement Coach, you will be instrumental in the success and expansion of the Community Trust, enabling the organization to broaden its operations and continue providing high-quality sessions.

New coaches will be responsible for the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults under their care, adhering to the Trust's policies regarding safeguarding.

We also expect all individuals to champion equality, diversity, and inclusivity, fostering a consistent and integrated approach to fairness and opportunity throughout the Trust.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Possession of at least a Level 1 football coaching certification
  • Experience in working or volunteering within educational, club, or community sports environments
  • Capability to assist in the planning, execution, and assessment of coaching sessions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • FA Safeguarding and Emergency Aid/BFAS certifications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and align with the environmental ethos
  • Proficient in computer usage

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in a charitable or community organization setting
  • Understanding of the charity, voluntary, and community sectors
  • A commitment to pursuing a career in the football industry, demonstrating enthusiasm and a passion for promoting participation in the sport
  • Experience in supporting camps, tournaments, or educational programs
