Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Long Bennington, NG23

Salary: £30,795– £32,795p.a (INCLUSIVE of sleep-in allowance and complex care allowance)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the daily lives of children and young people in our care.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, promoting a nurturing environment.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with the team to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide education and life skills training, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Participate in relevant training and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • Accurately record incidents and report writing, maintaining high standards of documentation.
  • Support your team, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.

To be considered for work with us:

  • You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally, you have experience supporting children. If not, you must have a passion for working with children
  • Holding an L3 or equivalent in Children & Young People would be desirable but not essential - we are happy to support you through your L3, L4, or L5 qualification
  • Please note all successful applicants are required to undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure or provide evidence that they are on the updated service
