Civil Engineering Project Coordinator

Danny Sullivan Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of water and wastewater projects in the Yorkshire area.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain survey control for contracts, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Set out detailed works as per contract drawings, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance.
- Promote a culture of safety and adherence to company rules, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Comply with company procedures and legal obligations, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Resolve technical difficulties and other issues that may arise, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
- Promote and ensure environmental compliance, upholding the company's commitment to sustainability.
- Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure adequate resources for the project.
- Ensure work is delivered defect-free, meeting quality standards.
- Timely handover of works and quality records, maintaining a high level of accountability.
- Identify and highlight value engineering opportunities, contributing to the company's growth.
- Produce ITPs and Task Briefings, ensuring clear communication with the team.
- Produce a 2-week look ahead in conjunction with the Site Agent, maintaining a proactive approach.
- Accurately record and maintain project records, drawing registers, and weekly diaries.
- Previous experience in setting out on civil engineering projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, construction laws, and environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with robotic total station or EDM instruments, with the ability to operate them effectively.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in civil engineering, with excellent communication skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic.
- Desirable skills include experience with AutoCAD and MS Office, temporary-works coordination, CSCS card, cable avoidance training, EUSR card, and first aid.
