About the Role
As a GCE Design and Technology Examiner, you will play a crucial role in assessing candidates' work and ensuring the integrity of our qualifications. You will be responsible for marking responses according to a specific marking scheme, applying your deep subject knowledge to evaluate student performance accurately and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark candidate responses with precision and adherence to the established marking scheme.
- Provide samples of marked work to the Team Leader as required, ensuring quality control and consistency.
- Meet all designated marking deadlines and milestones, contributing to the timely completion of the assessment process.
- Complete all administrative tasks associated with the examination process efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of one year of teaching experience within the last eight years in Design and Technology.
- Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
