Examiner - GCE A Level - History Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced History Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As a History Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our GCE A Level History assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Marking and Assessment
- Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme.
- Apply the mark scheme consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
- Administration and Logistics
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
- Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
- Complete all administration tasks as specified.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant qualification and subject.
- Be a qualified teacher.
- Skills and Abilities
- Have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
- Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
