About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physics Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As a Physics Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our GCE A Level Physics marking process.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to our conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
- Utilize our ePEN system to mark scripts online, with the option to work from home.
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure quality control.
- Meet milestones for marking and ensure all administrative tasks are completed as specified.
Requirements
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, with a focus on the relevant qualification subject.
- Be a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of the GCE A Level Physics curriculum.
- possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
