About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish language examiner to join our team at Pearson. As a GCE A Level Spanish examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
  • Use ePEN, our online marking system, to mark scripts from the comfort of your own home.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure quality control.
  • Meet milestones for marking and ensure all administration is completed as specified.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant qualification subject, since qualifying as a teacher.
  • Be a qualified teacher with a high level of subject knowledge in Spanish.
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
