Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Visiting Examiner to join our team of experts in Spanish language and culture. As a Visiting Examiner, you will be responsible for assessing the performance of candidates in GCE A Level Spanish examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark candidates' performance in accordance with published marking criteria and procedures, ensuring the overall standards are maintained.
  • Report any difficulties encountered during the assessment to our team.
  • Undertake an agreed allocation of local centres.
  • Submit written reports to our Chief Examiner and/or Team Leaders.

Requirements

  • You will have a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • You will be a qualified teacher with experience in teaching Spanish language and culture.
  • You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You will be IT literate.
