Examiner - GCE A Level Politics Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Examiner to join our team at Pearson, the world's leading learning company. As an Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our GCE A Level Politics marking process.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to our conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
- Utilize our ePEN system to mark scripts, which can be done from home, or work with paper scripts sent through the postal service.
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure overall standards are maintained.
- Adhere to milestones for marking and complete all administration tasks as specified.
Requirements
- You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, specifically in the relevant qualification subject.
- You will hold a degree in Politics or be a qualified teacher.
- You will have the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess a high level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
