About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economics Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As a GCE A Level Economics Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our examination process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
  • Utilize ePEN, our online marking system, to mark scripts from the comfort of your own home.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure quality control.
  • Meet milestones for marking and ensure all administration is completed as specified.
Requirements
  • Currently completing your NQT year within the relevant qualification and subject.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
Competencies
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of subject knowledge and expertise in Economics.
