Pearson GCE A Level NQT - Economics B Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team of examiners as a GCE A Level NQT. As an examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our assessment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme
  • Adhere to conditions of recognition and examination procedures
  • Work accurately and consistently to maintain overall standards
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Complete all administration as specified

Requirements:

  • Currently completing NQT year within the relevant qualification and subject
  • Hold a degree or equivalent
  • Have at least one year of full-time teaching experience at undergraduate level in the last three years
  • Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Have a high level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme
