Patient Access Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Access Officer to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Patient Access Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to consultants and other third parties to facilitate a seamless patient pathway.
- Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on the hospital database.
- Formally pre-register or register all patients onto HCA databases and ensure all relevant patient documents are signed and scanned to the patient accounts.
- Respond to telephone, written, and face-to-face queries and respond promptly to any patient/third-party requests.
- Manage patient waiting areas to ensure the Patient Access Service runs smoothly and coordinate and facilitate all patient bookings where applicable.
- Previous administrative experience in a client/customer-facing role.
- Excellent customer care skills and accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office – Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
