We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Access Officer to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our Patient Access department, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient journey, providing a high level of customer care and administrative support to our patients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our hospital.
- Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on our hospital database, ensuring that patient records are complete and accurate.
- Pre-register or register patients onto our databases, ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed and signed.
- Manage patient waiting areas, ensuring that our service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate and facilitate patient bookings, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience in a client-facing role, with excellent customer care skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office - Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and software.
