Role Overview:
The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the implementation and integration of information management standards, tools, and protocols with Tier 1 suppliers, aligning with the overarching Digitalisation, Data, and Information Management Strategy.

Reporting Structure:
This role will report to the Engineering & Technical Data and Digital Lead and will collaborate with the central Information Management function, design delivery managers, and Tier 1 supplier information management teams to establish uniform practices for information delivery and management throughout the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in defining information delivery processes, tools, and guidance materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other functions to define contract-specific Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) in accordance with the central EIR template and facilitate the rollout of information delivery tools and protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of information management training for project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Support the collection and evaluation of business requirements for information management workflows and tools.
  • Engage with Tier 1 suppliers and the delivery organization to integrate EIRs and information management standards and procedures.
  • Assist project managers in the implementation of EIRs into Tier 1 contracts, including participation in supplier briefings and addressing clarifications.
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers regarding information delivery expectations following contract awards.
  • Support the definition and execution of the Management Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) platform and processes.
  • Assist project managers in overseeing MIDPs from suppliers.
  • Work alongside Building Information Modeling (BIM) managers and the central information management team to develop and implement specialized workflows for the review and acceptance of data deliverables (3D models, GIS, datasets).
  • Monitor adherence to information management protocols and templates across the program.
  • Oversee the implementation of procedures for quality assurance of deliverables to ensure compliance with EIRs regarding naming conventions and nomenclature in the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
  • Manage administration, configuration, and access to the EDRMS for relevant contracts.
  • Generate reports from EDRMS platforms to support the management of design and construction supply contracts.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure project delivery processes and associated challenges.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in information management and delivery roles on significant infrastructure projects, with practical knowledge of deliverables management processes and platforms.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 concepts and principles, along with practical implementation experience within project delivery organizations.
  • Experience in developing and utilizing MIDP tools and processes.
  • Proficient in creating information management execution plans.
  • Experience in engaging and communicating with suppliers regarding information and deliverables management.
  • Experience collaborating with BIM managers and information managers to develop and implement specialized workflows for review and acceptance (3D models, GIS, datasets).
  • Awareness of the commercial implications of information requirements.
  • Strong project management and self-organization skills.
  • Good understanding of Common Data Environment (CDE) tools and processes for information delivery within major infrastructure projects, including Asite, Projectwise, and Teamcenter.
  • Proficient in various tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and other utility applications.
  • Effective communication skills.
