Protein Biochemist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Protein Biochemist to join our team at Planet Pharma. As a key member of our protein group, you will be responsible for the expression and purification of recombinant proteins, including multi-pass membrane proteins, for structural studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in the expression and purification of recombinant proteins, including multi-pass membrane proteins, for structural studies.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, enzymologists, crystallographers, and CADD groups to ensure clear progress updates and technical issue resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with technology developments in protein expression and purification, particularly techniques for producing recombinant proteins, including multi-pass membrane proteins.
Requirements:
- PhD or highly experienced Bachelor/MSc degree holders in a relevant field.
- Experience working in labs recognized for their expertise in multi-pass membrane proteins.
- Familiarity with insect and mammalian cell expression systems.
- Independent expertise in purification techniques, including affinity chromatography, ion exchange, SEC, and HIC.
- Extensive knowledge of AKTA purification platforms and associated software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software used in manipulating protein and DNA sequences and molecular visualization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
