About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Panton McLeod, a leading provider of innovative water treatment solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our customer relationships across the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review the work of the account management team, ensuring all tasks are performed accurately to provide exceptional support to the business.
  • Develop and nurture a diverse portfolio of customers through proactive and reactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Oversee the account management of existing customers, ensuring their needs are met with care, commitment, and professionalism.
  • Implement strategies to grow and expand the customer base in conjunction with the Business Development and Marketing teams, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using the CRM system.
  • Manage the team's adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Help the business meet or exceed targets and KPIs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a services-related B2B sales/account management role.
  • Demonstrable strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Intellectual curiosity to develop a deep understanding of business issues and proven ability to express recommendations professionally.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and an eagerness to collaborate with colleagues across the business.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with senior leaders, peers, and team members at all levels.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of working independently and autonomously while leading an engaged account management team.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £43k to £48k per annum.
  • Hybrid working arrangements between our head office and home.
  • 30 days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays), rising to 34 with length of service.
