About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our Project & Offshore Operations (P&OO) Finance team on a full-time, staff basis based out of our Westhill, Aberdeenshire office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information, including forecasts and budgets, for designated equipment.
  • Support Equipment Managers with daily financial tasks.
  • Prepare detailed monthly management accounts for assigned equipment.
  • Conduct monthly analytical reviews, including variance analysis and identification of areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and 5-year plans.
  • Support the preparation of forecast equipment utilisation for monthly reporting and budgets.
  • Manage capital expenditure reporting for equipment-related projects.
  • Perform cash flow analysis for assigned equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Group annual fixed asset verification.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft products.
  • Experience with Business Finance Capital (BFC) is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
