Position: Branch Sales Leader – Electrical Products

Industry Sector: Electrical Products, Electrical Distributors, M&E Contractors, End Users, Electrical Suppliers, Building Materials, Area Sales Executive, Sales Supervisor, Business Development Executive, Branch Supervisor, Assistant Branch Supervisor, Trade Counter Supervisor

Location: Leicester and surrounding area

Compensation: £35,000 - £40,000 negotiable + profit share bonus

The role of the Branch Sales Leader – Electrical Products will encompass:

  • Overseeing branch operations while promoting a diverse range of distributed electrical products
  • Engaging with M&E contractors or end users such as manufacturing facilities
  • Typical order values may vary from £500 to £8,000 based on project size and scope
  • Full accountability for managing all aspects of the branch's profit and loss
  • Expected to reach out to and visit existing clients to foster and maintain relationships
  • Managing all dimensions of the branch including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration, sales, and health & safety
  • Providing training, development, and motivation to all branch personnel

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as a sales-oriented branch manager within the electrical wholesale sector
  • Experience in selling to installers or contractors is preferred
  • Willingness to engage with customers to build relationships and drive sales
  • Able to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Ambitious, energetic, and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Personable, driven, and a people-oriented approach
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Proficient in IT
