Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Control Specialist to join our dynamic team at Turner & Townsend, focusing on the Infrastructure sector. This role will be pivotal in supporting various projects within the energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water, and utilities domains.

The Senior Project Control Specialist will collaborate closely with our Project Controls team on significant infrastructure initiatives, delivering essential performance reporting and analytical support. This position may involve working within a larger team or serving as the primary day-to-day liaison with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Typical tasks will include:

  • Collaborating with cost and planning engineers to establish comprehensive work breakdown structures and solid performance baselines.
  • Implementing effective progress and cost monitoring methodologies.
  • Generating detailed project control reports and offering performance analysis along with actionable recommendations for our clients.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field, with substantial industry experience being essential.
  • Experience in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector, particularly in areas such as Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, and Water/Utilities.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, or PRISM (Cost Management System).

Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, along with a commitment to adhering to documented processes and governance. Candidates should demonstrate innovative thinking to address the evolving challenges of project environments.
