About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Social Media to join our team at Media IQ Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across all platforms, with a focus on organically growing our social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the social strategy across all platforms, with a particular focus on organically growing our social channels.
  • Create engaging, cutting-edge social content that our audience will want to share.
  • Foster an active and engaged social media community by interacting with our audience, responding to comments and messages.
  • Work with show sponsors on social collaborations.
  • Work with talent to leverage their audiences on their social channels.
  • Collaborate with the production team to develop engaging, relevant content.
  • Utilise platform data to gather insights and develop learnings.
  • Opportunity to develop a team.

Requirements:

  • 4 years minimum experience in a social media agency or within the social media team in a similar content-driven media brand.
  • Proven ability to grow social following and engagement.
  • Experience in building and implementing social media strategies.
  • Understanding of paid, earned and owned.
  • Understand social analytics and compile reports for the wider team.
  • In tune with celebrity UK and US popular culture.
  • Passionate about social media and emerging trends.
  • An impeccable grasp of the English language, with accurate spelling, excellent writing skills and high attention to detail.
