Senior Cash Reconciliation Specialist

Martis Search is representing a global Financial Services company to hire a Senior Cash Reconciliation Specialist to join their Investment Operations team.
The role is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract and reports into the Head of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all related Cash Reconciliations, working as part of the Investment Operations Middle Office.
The company is looking for a hands-on Senior Cash Reconciliation Specialist with a strong background in working with Cash & Stock Reconciliations, preferably from an Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Custody background.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to both perform daily Cash Reconciliations and take a strategic approach to understand the bigger picture and implement change.
The role involves reviewing reconciliations conducted by Investment Operations and elsewhere within the company, completing a scoping exercise to confirm what reconciliations should be completed and how frequently, and investigating and recommending technology solutions to facilitate the completion of reconciliations.
The successful candidate will have a background conducting and overseeing the completion of transactional reconciliations, as well as familiarity with different technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting cash and share reconciliations on a rota with members of the Portfolio Administration team
- Identifying and implementing tactical changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reconciliations
- Working with stakeholders across the company to ensure their requirements are understood and taken into account in the development of the target operating model
The company offers a hybrid mix of working-from-home and in-the-office, and a competitive salary of £85,000 - £93,600 per annum, plus a good holiday allowance, pension, and other benefits.
