Senior Cash Reconciliations Specialist

Martis Search is representing a global Financial Services company to hire a Senior Cash Reconciliations Specialist to join their Investment Operations team in the West End.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cash and share reconciliations, on a rota with members of the Portfolio Administration team
  • Identify and implement tactical changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reconciliations, including changes to booking practices
  • Develop a target operating model for reconciliations at the company, including reviewing reconciliations conducted by Investment Operations and elsewhere within the company
  • Investigate and recommend technology solutions to facilitate the completion of reconciliations
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to ensure their requirements are understood and taken into account in the development of the target operating model
Requirements:
  • Strong background in working with Cash & Stock Reconciliations (Operations from either an Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Custody background)
  • Proven ability to both "roll your sleeves up" and do the daily Cash Reconciliations, but has the ability to take a step back be more strategic to understand the bigger picture and implement change
  • Expert knowledge of reconciliation systems and how they interact with other systems
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to investigate reconciliation differences, and identify the appropriate individual or team for resolution
  • Expert ability to navigate Excel
