Role Overview

This position requires you to work from our London office on a full-time basis. You will spearhead the outbound sales development strategy, collaborating with various teams, and leading the Business Development UKI team to generate and qualify leads for our high-velocity sales engine.

  • Collaborate closely with the regional business development manager to align on territory strategies.
  • This role serves as an initial step towards a leadership career in the dynamic SaaS sector.
  • Partner with sales managers and representatives to ensure alignment with regional plans.
  • Maintain effective communication with sales departments to guarantee lead quality and follow-up.
  • Mentor and train a team of Business Development Managers.
  • Handle a significant volume of inbound inquiries from potential Freshworks clients through various communication channels, aiming to generate interest, qualify leads, and connect them with our sales teams to achieve regional revenue goals.
  • Ensure that BDMs/SDRs effectively manage their time to maximize productivity, including pre-call planning and adherence to territory metrics.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to ensure progress towards goals and targets.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and reporting on team performance, tracking key metrics such as qualification and conversion rates, and delivering accurate forecasts to sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute campaign strategies, ensuring campaign success and providing feedback based on real-world interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, including the use of new technologies and online resources.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in SaaS, specifically in developing and executing outbound strategies tailored to the UKI market, with experience managing international teams.
  • Familiarity with selling into customer support and IT sectors is a plus.
  • Understanding of Account Based Marketing strategies and LinkedIn selling techniques.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across regions.
  • Experience in leveraging KPIs to enhance performance and optimize processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including positive engagement, active listening, strong writing abilities, and teamwork.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Ability to distill complex data into clear insights for senior management.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
