Job Title: Band 7 Quality Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Quality Governance Manager to join our team at The Royal Free. As a key member of our quality governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the divisional governance team, ensuring the effective implementation of quality governance policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Head of Quality Governance to develop and monitor an effective patient safety framework, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the divisional governance team, ensuring the effective implementation of quality governance policies and procedures.
  2. Develop and monitor an effective patient safety framework, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  3. Work closely with the Head of Quality Governance to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective implementation of quality governance policies and procedures.
  5. Provide specialist advice on quality assurance and patient safety.
Person Specification:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as clinical governance or risk management.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
