Legal Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Legal Operations Coordinator to support our legal department in a temporary capacity. This position is well-suited for individuals who excel in dynamic settings and possess strong organizational skills.
In this role, you will be essential in managing administrative tasks that ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies. You will collaborate with various departments to uphold compliance with industry regulations, facilitate risk management efforts, and advocate for operational excellence.
This position is based in our office, and candidates should be readily available to start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of legal documentation.
- Assist the Head of Safety in coordinating health and safety initiatives, managing related projects, and compiling reports.
- Conduct policy assessments and compliance checks to ensure alignment with legal obligations and corporate guidelines.
- Manage trademark processes and monitor for potential conflicts requiring escalation.
- Gather customer due diligence data to evaluate financial risk profiles.
- Process licensing modifications and renewals, liaising with relevant authorities as needed.
- Facilitate licensing training for managers to ensure comprehension of relevant policies.
- Organize workshops to meet the company’s requirements for personal license holders and manage variations in premises licenses.
- Handle insurance claims and investigations, ensuring timely submission of necessary documentation to insurers.
- Ensure timely updates and registrations at Companies House regarding company activities.
- Manage company share and bond records along with pension scheme documentation.
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings.
- Support the planning of meetings and special events, taking accurate minutes during discussions.
- Ensure the integrity and compliance of data entered into the company's information systems.
- Coordinate the processing of invoices related to legal services and manage daily external correspondence.
Experience Required:
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in IT applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex governance and compliance information.
