Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Butler Rose. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our weekly and monthly payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify and process timesheets, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date.
  • Manage and verify new starter information, collaborating with colleagues to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Apply tax codes, student loans, and other notices from HMRC in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries.
  • Generate and distribute self-bill invoices, remittances, payslips, and client invoices.
  • Oversee the management of Purchase Orders and resolve any invoice-related questions.
  • Handle pension communications and manage file uploads with care.
  • Assist with various ad-hoc duties as needed, contributing to both finance and payroll teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with payroll systems is essential.
