Job Summary:

Gist Limited is seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our logistics and supply chain services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: You will be accountable for ensuring operational excellence, including cost and service, as well as peak planning and delivery.
  • Route Monitoring: You will monitor all routes to ensure they are running on time and escalate any issues to the Team Manager as necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will conduct daily administration tasks, including payroll systems, payroll queries, and holiday management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have experience in administration in a busy transport environment.
  • Skills: You will be PC literate with experience in Word and Excel, and have excellent attention to detail.
