Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to become a vital member of our Community Stroke Services team. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing essential assessment and rehabilitation services to stroke patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Physiotherapist, your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering high-quality physiotherapy services tailored to the needs of stroke patients.
  • Managing your own caseload autonomously while ensuring accountability for patient outcomes.
  • Collaborating with team leads to plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy services effectively.
  • Providing mentorship and clinical supervision to junior physiotherapy staff and students.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records through both written documentation and electronic systems.
  • Participating in out-of-hours services as necessary.
  • Continuously updating your professional skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in physiotherapy.
