Type: Part-Time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Hybrid Working (2 Days On-Site Per Week)

Salary: £23,375 per annum

Overview:
As a vital contributor to the Inside Sales Team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Lead Generation. Your primary responsibility will be to assess new business opportunities and arrange initial meetings, thereby supporting the overall expansion of Compass Group UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new business opportunities based on targeted lists provided by your Sales Director, utilizing Sales Engagement software such as Microsoft Dynamics. This will involve outreach through emails, calls, and professional networking platforms.
  • Facilitate pre-tender meetings for your sales team by qualifying new business leads.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential pipeline opportunities for your sales team.
  • Develop a professional network on LinkedIn, connecting with relevant stakeholders within the purchasing framework for your opportunities.
  • Spot opportunities for the creation of new sales materials to be distributed to prospects during specific engagements, and communicate these needs to your Inside Sales Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Marketing to leverage LinkedIn campaign data and buying signals to enhance your lead qualification and appointment-setting efforts.

  • A strong desire to thrive in a dynamic environment, coupled with a keen interest in understanding the sales funnel.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for the Compass brands.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage objections effectively to meet objectives.
  • Commercially aware, consistently seeking new avenues for revenue generation.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable role.
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of working towards KPIs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
