Procurement Opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Business

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking for their first role in procurement with a global manufacturing business in East Kent.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers on products and contract reviews, finding new suppliers and growing the business, analysing inventory and sales levels, optimising the supply chain, liaising with customers and updating them on their order progress, maximising and improving service levels, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, liaising with customs clearance agents for overseas deliveries, and completing import and export documentation.

Requirements

  • CIPS qualified and/or educated to degree level in supply chain/logistics.
  • Strong and varied negotiation skills.
  • Detail orientated with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient using Excel.
  • Due to the location of the role, you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
