Procurement and Cost Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Cost Analyst to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Materials Planning and Cost Management team, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing our long-term material requirements for internal and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for creation and maintenance of material cost model within SAP / Other modelling software
- Forecasting material usage / cost for full project life cycle
- Arrange and lead regular life cycle cost reviews
- Support work package management and financial processes
- Generate simulations / anticipate changes
- Reporting and analysis of the budget vs actual costs
- Identify priorities associated with risk/impact and set up recovery actions with stakeholders
- Analyse and share performance KPI's with different stakeholders
- Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plans
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the correct level of information is received
- Identification of cost reduction opportunities and maintain a potentials pipeline applying synergies across platform / commodity
- Apply APSYS roadmap and standards
- Manage Auditable Change Control
- Participate to EHS improvement and targets
- Enable project growth via accurate forecasting

- Graduated at least from Higher Education in Business
- Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain
- Experience with ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement
- Inventory management & Material Planning techniques
- Ability to Influence, Negotiate and Communicate at all levels of an organisation
- Industrial scheduling
- Process orientated
- Supply Chain information systems
- Data analytics
- Project Management Basics
