Logistics Operations Supervisor

Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days
Role Summary
We are in search of a proficient Logistics Operations Supervisor to manage our warehouse functions and ensure effective logistics coordination. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in warehouse management and a proactive mindset towards upholding exceptional standards in cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position demands outstanding organizational capabilities and the aptitude to efficiently oversee inventory levels, equipment, and delivery processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Uphold the highest standards of warehouse cleanliness, ensuring safe access to all machinery.
- Oversee warehouse and field equipment, storage solutions, and ensure adherence to inspection, servicing, calibration, and legal standards.
- Supervise inventory levels within our storage facilities.
- Coordinate and manage loading and unloading activities for warehouse and site deliveries/collections.
- Organize and/or execute nationwide site deliveries and collections as necessary.
- Ensure the secure storage of hazardous materials, maintain CoSHH Risk Assessments and CoSHH Register.
- Conduct or arrange regular health & safety evaluations of premises, equipment, and machinery in collaboration with the Health & Safety Manager.
- Comply with control measures outlined in Warehouse Risk Assessment and Fire Risk Assessment.
- Ensure personal transportation to and from the workplace for agreed contract or site hours.
- Assist with the maintenance, servicing, MOT, cleaning, and upkeep of company vehicles.
- Ensure all required equipment, tools, and materials are loaded onto vehicles for task completion.
- Support various projects and departments within the organization as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations and management.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Forklift and counterbalance certification.
