Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Showroom and Account Executive to join our team at Sanderson Design Group plc. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing showroom operations, and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Showroom Operations:
    • Maintain a high level of presentation and organization of our showroom at all times.
    • Ensure all brands are fully represented and promoted to an excellent standard.
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on product selection, specifications, and samples.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Account Management:
    • Implement sales strategies to drive business growth and maximize sales revenue.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
    • Provide regular updates and progress reports to management.
    • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of showroom events and promotions.
    • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and business plans.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE A-C level as a minimum and/or equivalent.
  • Ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field and/or equivalent.
  • Formal sales training would be a strong advantage but not essential.
  • Passion for luxury interior furnishings and knowledge of interior design.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong written communication skills, sound administration ability.
  • Highly self-motivated individual, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Able to prioritize and work under pressure; efficiently and accurately.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to present, influence, and communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
