We are seeking a skilled Arrears Specialist to join our team at Pepper Advantage, a leading loan servicing company in the UK. As an Arrears Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving mortgage arrears through effective communication and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process mortgage administration activities with accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate regularly with customers experiencing payment difficulties
- Negotiate arrears workout options, such as arrangements, capitalisation, and loan workouts
- Monitor and enforce agreed workout strategies, taking further action as necessary
- Analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Recent experience in a Collections role
- Experience in dealing with customers experiencing financial difficulties
- Prior exposure to operational loans, preferably in a mortgage context
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- An understanding of Consumer Duty and regulatory requirements
