About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Arrears and Litigation Specialist to join our team at Stellar Select Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely processing of mortgage administration activities, communicating with customers experiencing payment difficulties, and negotiating arrears workout options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely processing of mortgage administration activities
  • Regular communication with customers who are experiencing payment difficulties
  • Discuss and negotiate arrears workout options, e.g. arrangements, capitalisation, loan workouts, shortfall sales, etc.
  • Monitor agreed workout strategies to ensure they are complied with, and take further action by the Special Servicing Manual where appropriate
  • Analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in an appropriate timescale
Requirements
  • Prior exposure to operational loans
  • Experience working with customers experiencing financial difficulties
  • The ability to offer outstanding customer service
  • The ability to effectively relate to the customer and communicate pertinent information in a cohesive and relevant manner
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry with a consumer finance business will be required
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • A good understanding of regulatory requirements and the impact these have on the business
  • Collections experience is desirable but not essential
