HR Advisor Role

We are seeking an exceptional HR Advisor to join our team at AskVerity, a fantastic HR consultancy based near Warwick. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in guiding and advising our clients on HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of HR in managing client relationships and providing HR advice.
  • Manage a workload of up to 90 clients, responding to HR queries and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with HR colleagues to monitor and review policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with legislation.
  • Provide advisory services to clients, ensuring they understand process and procedures, and managing expectations.
  • Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently, in line with legal and client requirements.
  • Support clients with probationary reviews, appraisals, grievances, disciplinary investigations, and capability hearings.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and manage client relationships, communicating dates for meetings and reviews.
  • Monitor employee absence and provide advice as necessary.
  • Prepare management information for client reports and maintain client databases.
  • Deliver HR workshops and training to clients, reviewing and designing new material as needed.
Personal Qualities and Skills:
  • Excellent administrative and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Generalist HR experience within an in-house/shared service HR environment.
  • Key experience of working with and advising line managers.
  • Proactive approach in all areas of HR.
  • First-class IT and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and results-focused.
  • CIPD qualified or desire to qualify, with support provided upon successful completion of probation.
