Level 2 Gymnastics Coordinator

We are seeking to recruit a Level 2 Gymnastics Coordinator on a fixed term contract to deliver an excellent gymnastics programme at Wentworth Leisure Centre, Hexham.

**Duties and key result areas**:
1. Maximise the potential of the sports hall by assisting with the management of the gymnastics programme.

2. Lead a team of gymnastics instructors in the supervision and instructing of the gymnastics programme, following British Gymnastics guidelines.

3. Plan and deliver a high standard of gymnastic sessions across a wide range of ability and age.

4. Ensure consistent progression for children attending the gymnastics programme.

5. Liaise with the gymnastics club, to assist with the progression of children from the gymnastics programme to gymnastic club membership.

6. Contribute to an imaginative school holiday sports hall programme.

7. Provide regular feedback to customers/parents.

8. Maintain registers of attendance.

9. Meet your duty of care to meet all Health & Safety requirements, in accordance with appropriate regulations and procedures.

10. Fulfil normal operating plan (NOP) & emergency action plan (EAP) obligations.

11. Maintain and store all gymnastics equipment in a safe condition.

12. Undertake any other duties, as may be reasonably required.

13. Work at other centres if required.

The duties and responsibilities highlighted above are indicative and may vary over time. Post holders are expected to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level and extent of the post and the grade has been established on this basis.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: £13.66 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
