**Job Overview**
**Contract**:Full-time permanent contract - 37 hours per week
**Shifts**:Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4:45pm (some flexibility available and can be discussed)
Friday: 9am - 4pm
**Salary**: £22,000.00 - 24,000.00 per annum (dependant on skills and experience)
**Location**: Hybrid working between your home and our Glasgow office
**Training**:1-week comprehensive training - _full attendance required._
Additional access to online Zinc Learning Academy to allow self-development
**Holidays**: 30 days including bank holidays, increasing 1 day per year of service for the first 5 years

We have an opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our HR department in supporting our Glasgow and Stratford upon Avon offices.
**The role**
Reporting to the HR Manager, we’re looking for someone to work within our HR team who has:
- Fantastic organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise their workload effectively;
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing accurate work every time;
- A basic working level of employment law knowledge;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- The ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels;
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
- Discretion with confidential information;
- Computer literate with excellent administrative skills;
- Experience of working within Human Resources.
The desired standards for this role include:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with recruitment by arranging and conducting interviews and making offers of employment;
- Managing the new starter process through issuing offer letters and all relevant new starter paperwork, conducting new starter checks and sending reference requests;
- Supporting managers through providing advice where applicable on HR activities and processes;
- Providing administration support as and when required;
- Preparing letters for employees as required such as invites to disciplinary, welfare meeting invites and changes to terms and conditions;
- Maintaining employee records and HR systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate;
- Support with any ad hoc projects when required;
- Any other duties as may reasonably be allocated to you from time to time.
