Where You At (WYA) is an award-winning female-led app seeking to improve and elevate the nightlife, festival and event experience. Backed by the Night-time Industries association, Where You At is the first data-enabled, venue mapping app, which allows users to locate their friends and stay connected in venues and festivals, even in areas with no internet connection, phone signal, or WIFI; powered by Bluetooth.
We are seeking a highly motivated self-starting Sales Representative to drive contracts with live-events venues; bringing in new business and managing the sales process end-to end. You will be pitching and selling our app and Venue Operations Centre; a cutting-edge data insights platform allowing venues to understand and better connect with attendees. You will also be co-ordinating with Operations and Customer Success functions to ensure smooth installation and onboarding processes. This is a highly exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join a dynamic, growing team, with clear opportunities for progression and personal growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Strong focus on driving the closure of contracts with venues
- Prospecting and identifying potential clients across nightlife and live-events sectors (primarily UK, some EU focus)
- Managing a sales pipeline, maintaining records in a CRM system
- Building relationships with venues and other stakeholders
- Understanding client needs and tailoring pitches and solutions accordingly
- Delivering pitches, and conducting product demos
- Troubleshooting issues that arise during the sales process
- Negotiating pricing and terms, utilising a pricing matrix, driving high volumes of closed deals
Must haves
- 3+ experience in a B2B sales role with proven track record of deal closure at a high contract value
- Highly knowledgeable of the entertainment, nightlife and/or live events industry, primarily in the UK, with global or European experience a bonus
- Dynamic, personable character; highly motivated and self-starting
- Experience working within start-up and tech companies, comfortable with fast-paced environments
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in sales of B2B data platforms or other tech solutions and subscriptions to the nightlife and live events industry
- UK Driving License
- Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish
Salary & Benefits
- £30k to £38k - dependent on experience, in addition to highly motivating commission structure on deals closed
