Our client an Electrical Wholesaler based in the north of Newcastle upon Tyne area are looking for an experienced internal salesperson within one of their busiest branches.

The position offers an excellent opportunity for career progression in an established and respected wholesaler operating throughout the country.

**Duties**:

- To increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new customer accounts
- Processing quotations & sales orders for customers.
- Workings closely with a large customer base, ensuring orders are completed accurately.
- Assist on the trade counter and incoming telephone calls.
- To assist with the smooth running of the branch in the absence of the Managers.
- Assist with managing stock levels and ordering stock from manufactures.

**Ideal person**:

- At least 2 years experience in a similar role (Wholesale or trade merchant)
- Excellent time management
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Confident telephone manner & team player
- Good IT skills and quick to learn new systems

**Package**:
